1381889_777375955625193_1804732298_nA husband, father, statesman and a Hero. Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya also (popularly) known as Tom Mboya played with gusto, his short but immensely cardinal role on the stage of life, leaving behind a legacy larger than history and life combined.

As fate would have it, his life and aspirations were cut short by an assassin’s bullet. But neither the emptiness of the grave nor the passing of time has succeeded in robing him the honour of the global icon he was and still is posthumously. Yes, they stalked and eventually killed him for his beliefs and convictions but as they say, “they can only kill the body” because as long as history lives, his “ideas shall never perish.”
