Someday: Memento Mori

Someday the atmosphere will be a little quiet, even the birds might pause their chirping and flying from one tree to another. The dogs will stop barking and even the trees swaying and swishing. Or maybe they will not.  For either they know not or they care not.

The people below will be speaking in hushed tones, with an uncommon silence.
Some will speak praises to you, others be lost for words, others yet blame you or another for your demise.

Sad songs will be sang. Dark clothes worn and encouraging words spoken to the bereaved. Who at that point will be but just asking Why. Why him? Why her?  Why now? At some point, you will be lowered down. To rest (is it from the acts of the world?). Then, the first drops of soil will hit the housing. Then a little more, until it is a heap. A cross may be put or a tombstone bearing the message Sunrise:- Sunset:- or a longer version (S/he lived a … Life).
You will neither see nor hear. Or maybe you will. It is said your spirit will hover around or there is a life after death. Whichever case you will know then or know not but either way not tell.

It is the way of life though.

If you reading this, it means it’s not yet your day.

Make the best of your life, enjoy it, make it better for others.

For you know not the day nor the hour of your day nor the Lord’s Day.
